Help! I Think We've Reached Our Quota

When I attempted to attach (not link) a photo in one of my posts I received the following message:
Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.
The photo file was small - only 61 KB. Has anyone else had this experience?

Thanks for the response. I think our tech wiz, Gob, might need to change a setting if he wants to to allow the feature to continue.

That’s too bad, especially since in trying to catch up on recent threads I’ve noticed a great many images have gone missing within days of being posted - especially a lot of Scooter’s. Not sure if that’s a board issue too or just that links are expiring very quickly from the original image sources.

attachment bandwidth....

Except I haven't been doing a lot of attachments; I usually find the process a major pain in the ass because it almost always requires reducing the size to fit within the very low limit.

Me too.
I'll look into the settings. It may be that our upload allowance is free, and any additional space will need paying for.

Thanks for fiddling with the settings, Gob. I like the feature. I don't mind taking the extra step to shrink a file. A lot of photos I see linked in posts are large files. I guess they don't have the same type of limitations - or same type of effect on the board.
Anyway, many thanks to Gob, our Plan B tech wiz...

I open the picture in MS Paint and use the resize feature.

I use an electromagnetic shrinking machine, I borrowed it off Rick Moranis.

I don't think this laptop I use here at work has MS paint, or MS anything for that matter. It was free, with a cracked screen, after all. I replaced the screen with Youtube instructions. It surfs the net, and does email. That's all I need, most of the time.
I'm afraid I might shrink my kids (and grandkids by now) if I borrowed Mr. Moranis' machine.

Paint comes with a standard Windows installation. Look under Windows Accessories in your start menu.
