I enjoyed reading the comments to that video; it seems many Canadians are having mixed feelings about prominent displays of the flag what with the hijacking of the symbol by right wing nut jobs, just like here in America.

And just for the record ... if you fly it horizontally, the tip of the Maple Leaf points up (duhh...)
If you fly it vertically, the tip of the leaf points to the viewer's left, as is shown behind the speaker in the video clip provided by Sue U.
