A couple of months ago my cousin posted this same joke on Facebook, only it was they left more Red Sox tickets next to the pair he had in the car. I replied it could have been worse, they could have left Patriots tickets.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
