I am more interested in Congress. The GOP has had at least 6 years of Gerrymandering to get safe districts, and their current strategy of fixing the local vote counting system. I am anxious to see how that works out.

It’s only anecdotal and I live in a hotbed of liberalism but the rural conservative towns where I work I have seen fewer signs in recent weeks - houses that had them out have removed them. It doesn’t mean they are changing their votes of course, but some shame is emerging it seems. That suggests a return to normalcy.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Trump now has only a 4 point lead in Iowa (down from 18 points against Biden) and leads by 5 points in Alaska.

I don't understand the last 2 maps - there's a 16 electoral count swing, and the only difference in the map colors is NM became LESS blue.

There are a lot of “Harris” ads round here touting her support for Israel. Being generally turned off by political ads it took me a while to figure out these are intended to be smear ads (some are far less subtle than others) due to the larger than average Arabic population around here.

To answer datsun's question, I'm not sure where those Sep 27 counts came from, I think it was originally an error that got quickly corrected, because the count for that day now shows Harris 276 to Trump 262 as it did on the previous days. Lots of polling but really no movement since.
